Stayed for 5 days in January to beat the UK cold. The booking process was very straightforward, and efficient. The villa is in a lovely complex, and the resort is very well maintained. The villa was spotlessly clean, and furnished to a high standard with all mod cons including an excellent wireless broadband service. There is plenty of outdoor space with very comfortable garden furniture - although it was too cold to swim in the pool, the pool was well looked after. Nearby are interesting and picturesque towns and resorts. Excellent value for money, and a professional service - I would definitely return and we all enjoyed the accommodation immensely. |  |

We had a wonderful time at casa Mendes. We wanted a quiet holiday where we could relax and we certainly did that. The villa is five star luxury. The clean pool was enjoyed by all especially my two daughters. Even the one year old was paddling at the more shallow end. We enjoyed lots of al fresco dining using the superb bbq areas and there was plenty of shade at all times. The resort is immaculate and my husband particularly enjoyed the golf. The villa is extremely well equipped and we found everything that we could want. We cannot rate Lionel highly enough for the help he gave us both before and after our holiday. We will recommend Casa Mendes to everyone. |

The villa is in a quiet residential street, it is very well maintained and the garden and pool are in excellent condition. There was plenty of outdoor space for the children to play on and for us to relax. BBQ was also provided and even umbrella's for the beach. The interior was also in excellent condition, tastefully decorated and everything you needed was provided. There were plenty of glasses, dishes and even plastic ones for the children, it has been well looked after and thoughtfully stocked. There is a selection of DVDs, games and books, the children were delighted. There was also wi-fi you just buy a card at shop. There was plenty channels to watch also. It was spotless when we arrived and we even were offered change of beds after 1 week. Washing machine and outdoor dryer were really handy to have too. |

Your family of three (6 year old son) absolutely loved this villa and pool! It far exceeded our expectations, was very spacious and well laid out. The pictures do not do it justice. The villa itself and all of the furnishings are of a high-quality and it is very well-equipped. We were there in early June and the pool was easily warm enough to swim in. It has a shallow end that is perfect for children. The back yard was partially screened from the neighbors on both sides and very private. If it had a view onto the golf course it would have been amazing. The golf course, clubhouse restaurant, and driving range were all first class. Travelling with a 4 year old and 18month old is stress full ,but add the grandparents in as well and its a hard combination to cater for.. This villa was the perfect home from home, everything I needed was available , cots , high chairs , laundry, well stocked kitchen , fanatastic dining space and brilliant family lounge with satelite TV. The bedrooms were very well layed out and the bathrooms were very clean and modern. The site seeing was amazing from the historic beauty of Cartegna and Guadalest , to the beach and sport life of the coastal region which was all with in easy commutable distance.The resturants were relaxing and amazing cuisine. |

I stayed at this Villa with my girlfriend and we found the villa to be well equipped with all the fittings you would expect at home. We also felt it was best to hire a car to visit the local shops/restaurants etc. The local restaurants serve very good food at very reasonable prices. |

The house is well equipped and well cared for. The wi-fi was a welcome bonus! The windows took some working out, but there was all the help we needed in the information provided by the owner. There are a variety of restaurants in the vicinity serving a range of international cuisines, and at very reasonable prices. We were there late September/early October so the resort was blissfully quiet. Just what the doctor ordered!

We have stayed several times at La Torre, in villas and in apartments, this was our first time in a townhouse as our children are now teenagers so having the pool in sight is no longer an issue. This particular house was a 3 minute walk from the nearest pool which was ideal. I particularly liked the open plan kitchen instead of the usual seperate kitchen, as this was more social. The house was very clean and well equipped. The free WiFi was greatly appreciated by my teenagers. I would definitely choose this property again. All communications with the owner were quick and efficient. |

We have just returned from a fabulous 12 night family holiday at Casa de Mendes, La Torre. The property has excellent facilities and is very well located overlooking the golf course, you can catch the sun from early morning until late into the evening on the terrace. The house is tastefully furnished and air conditioned which is very welcome at times as is the free wi-fi. The UK tv channels helped to keep the kids entertained when we took a break from the sun. It is only a short walk to the nearest pool which we visited many times, there are many communal pools at La Torre and all are maintained to a very high standard. There is also tennis and golf on site but we were happy to simply chill out and enjoy the sun. A hire car is advisable to get the most out of the location, we flew into Alicante which is an easy 1 hour drive away via good roads. This was our 2nd visit to La Torre and we would definately go back to Casa de Mendes for a relaxing holiday in the sun. |

This is a small but very well presented 2 bedroom house with two floors, plus a third floor open air balcony. One bedroom on the ground floor, one on the first floor, both with two single beds. The upstairs bedroom has a basic fitted wardrobe, a very large balcony which gets the sun from dawn til late afternoon, as well as a good ensuite bathroom. The downstairs bedroom is quite small with a similar fitted wardrobe, and an adjacent slightly smaller bathroom than upstairs. The living area is a good size, and there is a large wall mounted flat screen tv and dvd player, as well as a password-free wireless router. The TV channels are mostly foreign language. There is an undercover terrace with a large table to the rear. The complex is very nice indeed - quiet and pleasant, with well maintained golf courses. There is a supermarket with surprisingly cheap goods, an Irish styled pub, and a hotel with excellent facilites for visitors. You will need a car to get to the beaches, towns and tourist attractions. Murcia city with its cathedral, and the port town of Cartagena are good day or half-day trips, and there are many beaches which are quiet, often used by the Spanish (at least in May). I would suggest the following improvements: the kitchen does need a thorough clean, e.g. the pots and pans are a bit old and greasy, and the kettle is a mess. The windows throughout could not be opened. The upstairs bedroom could do with a bit of an update - I didn't try the 14" TV in the corner but it seems a bit old fashioned and partly blocks the door to the balcony. A double (king?) bed up here would be better. These are minor issues - I would happily go back, and probably will. I would recommend this rental for a relaxing good value holiday. We are now highlighting this to everyone and urging everyone to contact the keyholder and cleaners or ourselves immediately, using the publicized numbers sent to you, should there be any queries or problems so that we can all do our utmost to assist you. In answer to your issues- The TV instructions allow you access to numerous English and foreign channels. The townhouse caters for various guest types and the single beds are often switched over to a double bed if requested by holiday makers prior to their visit. The key-holders were just as upset as we were that you found the kitchen not to your satisfaction as we all take great pride in keeping the property standards high and would have welcomed the opportunity to sort these issues out immediately with you had we been contacted at the time of the holiday. There was some limescale inside the kettle and this has since been removed and the pots inspected. The instructions sent to you explained that the window locks, which are easily unlocked by hand, were for your security. We agree with your comments on the DVD/TV in the main bedroom and have since donated it to a local school. We are pleased that you would recommend this rental for a relaxing good value holiday. 2011 was the 3rd. year in succession that we had stayed at this property . The reason being that we have friends in the adjoining house . This arrangement has therefore enabled 8 long established friends to enjoy much time together .We also find September a pleasant climate in southern Spain . |

This was our second visit to Casa mendes after having such a good time on La Torre in the summer last year. we have been visiting La torre now for the last 6 yrs as our family leave there and we needed a house close by for a family get together it couldnt have been any better The place is beautiful the views over the Golf course are splendid from the terrace .. a nice spot to enjoy a good glass pf Vino and the house has Wi fi which was a huge bonus to me. Mr Mendes was so professional , the transaction was swift and everything was as promised .. Thank you |
